Four safety items and one information sheet inserted into a poly bag and then inserted into a bubble mailer with a mailing label… 14,000 times.
A majority of the time our bigger kitting projects consist of customized POP signage for stores and franchises. This time, however, it was for the University of Wyoming.
This was a kit created for UWyo students coming back to campus. The items in the kit included:
These items were packaged into a clear bag identifying it as the “Cowboy Care Kit” along with a sheet recommended safety procedures.
With several smaller items to package and thousands of kits to make, our team got work, often with the sales team helping out at the end of the day. The goal was to send out 2,700 kits a day, but on the last day, we got out 6,000.
Here’s what the kitting process looked like:
While UWyo mailed out these kits before students began arriving on campus, these items could easily be handed out on campus as well. (Because we all know college students rarely turn down free things, especially if it has their campus branding on it.)
If your students are going to need these items anyways, why not throw your logo on them, too?
These days there are many antimicrobial items out there. Contact your sales rep today to see how we can make something like this work for you.
