Aspirations and Goals as a Human Being:
To continue learning and growing as a person every day (literally….I still have hopes to someday be 5′ 9″). Staying a positive and happy person. Never taking anything for granted.

Experience, Education and Credentials:
I am a master of all things I do (except drawing, but I can sure color in between the lines)

What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I love being outside (even though I run from anything that flies!!). I have an unfortunate addiction to Starbucks (don’t tell my husband). I count Hot Sauce as a vegetable and I love traveling.

Favorite quote:
“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.” -Abraham Lincoln

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us:
I write “right” handed but do most things left handed.

Tell us three things most people don’t know about you:

  • I can do a Scorpion pose. (No, I was not a cheerleader or ballet dancer, but I did randomly walk on my tip toes as a child.)
  • I won 1st in city in the 220 hurdles. Fortunately, it was before social media, so, no looking that one up!
  • I had part of my intestine removed when I was born. I know, odd fact, but you asked.

Three words to best describe you:

  • Effervescent
  • Staunch
  • Panivorous

Anything else you want to share? (family, hobbies, whatever)
My husband and I have 2 Jeeps that we probably treat better than family at times. I enjoy working on all the projects my husband dreams up, including a TearDrop Trailer we built that I have to say “looks pretty snazzy”.

What do you like most about Slate Group?
The atmosphere is absolutely amazing and people genuinely look like they want to be here, lol!

What do you like most about your role at Slate Group?
I am grateful to work with 2 people who truly test my skills and ability every day and I enjoy every minute of it.

What drew you to Slate Group originally?
I actually had just moved back to Lubbock and had interviews with 2 companies on the same day, one being Slate Group. One may have appeared better on paper but there other (Slate Group) was just a gut feeling I got when I walked into the office and was greeted by every person I walked by with a smile. It was a no brainer!

What has been your favorite project at Slate Group?
I love them all! Its amazing how you never hear “we can’t do that”. The craziness and ideas never stop…..you can not ask me to choose…..I will not do it!
